Choosing A Style

Choosing the right frame for you should be fun, for most of us it is how a frame looks on our face that counts so a few basic rules will mean that you don’t have to try on every frame to find the right one. Do you want a frame which is lightweight, flexible, strong and/or hypoallergenic?  The shape should be in proportion with your face and contrast your face shape, and the style should reflect your personality.

  • Plastic frames are made in many colours, many manufacturers are now layering more than one colour together to create interesting and unique colour blends, these rames are lightweight and comfortable to wear.
  • Metal frames have a finer appearance. Titanium is widely used, it is lightweight, durable, strong and corrosion-resistant and it is available in a variety of colours for a clean modern look. Stainless-steel is used for it’s lightweight-ness and strength. Flexon is a unique material which can be twisted and bent then it springs back to it’s original shape.

The key to creating the image you want is in selecting the right frames to match your personality and lifestyle. Most people can benefit from more than one pair of glasses, as we have more than one part to our lives. Thin plastics and metals, in non-complicated styles would be the choice for the more classic conservative person. If you are more creative and outgoing, then modern shapes in thicker plastics and metals are a good choice for you. Choosing a modern look helps keep you from aging yourself unnecessarily with your glasses.

Design and style are very important when choosing a frame, and quality and value are something that we always provide.
